JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for coordination of risk management and patient safety
programme within the MHS Facility..
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Implements, monitors, and documents Infection Control Programme as per
MSD rules and regulations;
Documents staff training in all Medical and Non-Medical departments on
Infection Control Programme;
Monitors effective communication between departments within MHS facility;
3.4
Monitors effective communication between MHS facility and patients;
3.5
Ensures patients rights and duties are informed to patient and staff;
3.6
Ensures patient satisfaction survey results are addressed;
3.7
Monitors safety programme compliance in coordination with safety
department;
3.8
Monitors major disaster drills;

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications or Relevant Experience:
4.1.1
Healthcare service related bachelor degree (nursing, pharmacy, social
work, respiratory therapy, etc.);
4.1.2
Formal training in healthcare quality and patient safety methodologies
i.e. (Healthcare Quality, Six Sigma, etc.).
Preferred:
4.2.1
Knowledge of Joint Commission International standards and
4.2.2
Knowledge of Quality frameworks e.g. FOCUS - PDCA, FMEA
processes, Root Cause Analysis, etc.;
4.2.3
Minimum License/Certification Requirement:
Professional in Healthcare Quality).

Three to five years experience in design and implementation of patient
safety programme in a healthcare delivery system;

Experience in Quality/Performance Improvement is preferred;
