Tender Notice
National Agricultural Research Centre intends to use the services of “Macrogen Korea
or Equivalent for DNA Sequencing of PCR Products of 1800 Samples” for OliveProject entitled “ Rapid Identification of Olive Cultivars Using DNA Markers” from
the sole agents/sole distributors/authorized dealers of the original manufacturers on free
delivery basis at NARC, Chak Shahzad, Park Road, Islamabad.
The detailed specifications are mentioned in the tender document. Tender documents
can be purchased from the office of the Directorate of Procurement, NARC, Islamabad
on any working day (Monday-Friday) during the office hours from 25-10-2013 by
submitting a written request on the firm/company’s letter pad, along-with a pay order or
bank draft amounting to Rs.500/- (Non-Refundable) drawn in the favor of Director
(Admn), NARC.
Interested bidders may submit their bids in the office of the Directorate of Procurement,
NARC, Chak Shahzad, Park Road, Islamabad, along-with a covering letter on
firm/company letter pad, on or before 10:00am on 11-11-2013 positively. The bids will
be opened on the same day in the office of Directorate of Procurement, NARC,
Islamabad at 10:30am in the presence of bidders or their nominated agents present
thereat. No tender document will be sold on 11-11-2013.
Each bid should be accompanied by 3% earnest money (including taxes) of the quoted
amount in shape of Bank Draft or Pay Order in favor of Director (Admn), NARC. The
bids containing less earnest money shall not be entertained.
The firms should be registered with sales tax/income tax department. The payment of
all the taxes shall be the responsibility of the firms/suppliers. NARC reserves the right to
reject all bids proposals at any time prior to the acceptance of a bid or proposal. The
NARC shall upon request communicate to any supplier or contractor who submitted a
bid or proposal, the ground for its rejection of bids or proposals, but is not required to
justify those ground and NARC may decrease or increase the quantity.
