Sibelius . Concert for Violin and Orchestra d-moll, op. 47 PART II C. Prokofiev. Symphony number №1 "CLASSIC” D-Dur, op. 25. M. Ravel. Concert for Piano and Orchestra in G-Dur. In the first part of the concert, listeners will be introduced to one of the most beautiful works of Finnish composer Jean Sibelius - his Violin Concerto, which is perhaps the most popular works of this genre in the music of the XX century. The second part will begin with the first symphony by a domestic composer Sergei Prokofiev, written immediately after graduating from the conservatory and dubbed the "Classic". It is curious that this work was a sort of original response to the studied heritage of symphonic music by Viennese classics - Haydn and Mozart. the program will conclude with the first piano concerto by French composer Maurice Ravel, first performed in 1932 by the famous pianist Marguerite Long to whom it was dedicated. Ow Yong Hong (1987) was born in South Korea. At the age of four she began to study the violin. As a child, she has repeatedly won numerous national competitions, participated in television projects. Since 2003 in the creative career of Ow Yong Hong began a time of triumphs, which attracted international attention. She was the youngest participant in the International Competition of Carl Nielsen in Odense (Denmark), as well as in the last of the International Violin Competition of Pablo de Sarasate. In 2012, Hong Yong Ui won the Grand Prix at the International Competition of Music and Drama of Leopold Belan in Paris. Geography of touring by Ms. Hong is very broad: it is not just performances in Korea, she has performed in USA, Germany, Austria, Japan, China, Poland, Denmark, Luxembourg, Ukraine, Greece, Belgium, Czech Republic, Russia, Croatia, Spain, etc. She studied at the Higher school of music in Cologne with Prof. Zakhar Bron, who has trained a large number of eminent violinists, including Vadim Repin and Maxim Vengerov. Ow Yong Hong plays the violin works by the famous Italian master J.B. Gvadanini ( 1761 ). With the Kostroma province Symphony Orchestra will perform for the first time. Pavel Nersesian (1964) - Honored Artist of Russia (2005), winner of international competitions of Ludwig van Beethoven (Vienna, 1985, II Prize), Paloma O'Shea ( Santander, 1987, IV Prize), Tokyo (1989, V Award ), Dublin (GPA; 1991, I Prize), Professor in the special department of Piano in Moscow State Conservatory of P.I. Tchaikovsky. One of the most exciting pianists of his generation, P. Nersesian actively performs in cities of Russia, UK, USA, France, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy and Japan. Artist thrice has performed with the orchestra of P. Gershtein. in Kostroma many remember his vivid and compelling interpretation of Prokofiev's piano concertos and Brahms, as well as a double concerto by V.A.
