Course Content: Basic interactive game theory, design, and art as applied to game production.
Student Learning Outcome: Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:





Discuss the history of electronic game development.
Distinguish between the different game platforms and genres.
Define elements related to game theory, game play, game mechanics.
Identify the distinct roles and responsibilities of members of the game development team.
Understand the process involved to analyze and develop game concepts. 
Identify, understand, create, and integrate art content into a working game prototype.

Attendance Policy: Attendance is vital for the success of this class. All projects are
group based. Everyone is depended upon to contribute towards reaching the designated
project goals. Medical emergencies are excused with proper documentation. Two
absences will result in a one letter grade deduction. Subsequent absences will result in
additional letter grade deductions. For example, three absences will lower your grade by
two letter grades. Four absences will lower your grade by three letter grades. Five or
more absences will result in a failing grade.
