Our organization:
AIPC Pandora is a community of over 6.200 people who have lived transformative international
experiences with local communities in any of the 49 countries in which we operate. AIPC
Pandora's work since 2002 focuses on facilitating participation in international mobility
programs supporting educational, intercultural or employability projects. We work throughout
the entire cycle of international experiences, accompanying our participants before, during
and upon their return. Our activities are structured according to the three phases of the cycle
of participation: learning, action, transformation.
Our organization has 13 years of experience with the EVS and programs of international
mobility. Our international architecture is based on formal and informal means. We are part of
international networks and platforms such as the Experiment in International Living
Federation, with 36 expert partner organizations in solidarity and intercultural consultant and
member of the United Nations international programs, the Anna Lindh Foundation (a single
entity network consulting Euro-Mediterranean governments formed by civil society
organizations working for integration at all levels in the region), CIVICUS (World Alliance for
Citizen Participation), an influential network organization, both local and international,
working to expand the capacity of civil society worldwide and counting among its members
organizations with social purpose. Our principal aims are: encouraging dialogue and
intercultural understanding throughout the entire social fabric. Working towards equal
opportunities, particularly where this concerns equality in access to education, culture and
participation in society, for everyone. Promote international mobility as a means of personal
development, intercultural awareness and the development of the destinations and cultures
visited. Promote intercultural learning and active citizenship as well as all the rights and
responsibilities associated with this task. We prepare, offer support and monitoring for our
volunteers before, during and after EVS activities.
