AIPC Pandora's work since 2002 focuses on facilitating participation in international mobility programs supporting educational, intercultural or employability projects. We work throughout the entire cycle of international experiences, accompanying our participants before, during and upon their return. Our activities are structured according to the three phases of the cycle of participation: learning, action, transformation. Our organization has 13 years of experience with the EVS and programs of international mobility. Our international architecture is based on formal and informal means. We are part of international networks and platforms such as the Experiment in International Living Federation, with 36 expert partner organizations in solidarity and intercultural consultant and member of the United Nations international programs, the Anna Lindh Foundation (a single entity network consulting Euro-Mediterranean governments formed by civil society organizations working for integration at all levels in the region), CIVICUS (World Alliance for Citizen Participation), an influential network organization, both local and international, working to expand the capacity of civil society worldwide and counting among its members organizations with social purpose. Our principal aims are: encouraging dialogue and intercultural understanding throughout the entire social fabric. Working towards equal opportunities, particularly where this concerns equality in access to education, culture and participation in society, for everyone. Promote international mobility as a means of personal development, intercultural awareness and the development of the destinations and cultures visited. Promote intercultural learning and active citizenship as well as all the rights and responsibilities associated with this task. We prepare, offer support and monitoring for our volunteers before, during and after EVS activities. Tasks of the volunteers: AIPC Pandora will select two volunteers, one of them will help with the organization and management of the mobility programs: International Volunteering, Microprojects of Cooperation, Internships, groups programs, EVS, s/he will help with the recruitment of participants with fewer opportunities, collaborating with their selection and training. According to what he likes most, he/she can help with the preparation of the participants and the projects, participating in the training sessions; he/she can help with the development of the incoming projects, welcoming the participants and helping with the activities they realize; He/she can elaborate new European projects, helping with thematic projects, helping with the writing of youth or worker’s exchanges, finding new European partners. The second volunteer will help with the communication department, filming and editing videos, managing social networks, updating the webpage, helping with the information sent to the members of our organization, helping to organize meetings, venues, youth exchanges, etc.. The accommodation is in a shared apartment in the centre of Madrid. Pocket money is 105 €, plus 200 € for meals. A monthly transport pass for Madrid is provided to the volunteers.
