We are seeking a dynamic, motivated individual for the position of Lab Technician. Job responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to: •! •! •! •! •! •! Assist in the accurate formulation and dispensing of all pharmaceutical compounds and natural health products Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), good manufacturing practices (GMPs), and Federal and Provincial regulations Receive/verify all incoming pharmaceutical orders, maintain current pricing and manage inventory Assist with ordering of raw chemicals and supplies Identify short-dated and out-dated inventory and submit appropriate records Ensure product research and development is carried out as per protocol Job qualifications include: •! •! •! •! •! •! Bachelor of Science Degree an asset along with strong mathematical skills Pharmacy assistant experience an asset Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Confident self-starter with some research and planning skills Proficiency using computer software programs, including MS Office and Simply Accounting Highly organized with proven experience in juggling multiple demands Benefits: •! •! •! •! •! •!
