I have worked for 20 years in the cutting-edge area of pharma/medical market
research, chiefly as a global research consultant but also as a specialist translator.
Armed with a Masters degree in Medical Microbiology, and further informed by
two sisters who are both doctors, I enjoy a broad-based and in-depth knowledge
of the world of medicine and its related sectors, as well a strong patronage of
medical/pharmaceutical terminology.
With 20 years of experience working at and with Italian Pharmaceutical
marketing research institutes, I have developed:
 A broad knowledge of a wide range of products from various sectors within
the medical field, including Oncology (CRC, SCCHN, NSCLC, Breast Cancer…),
Multiple Sclerosis, Multiple Myeloma, Hospital Infections, Depression, Asthma,
Erectile Dysfunction, Osteoarthritis, Hypertension and Medical Devices
 A clear understanding of the Pharmaceutical/Medical client’s translation
needs as well as concrete experience in finding answers and appropriate
solutions to these needs
I have been doing medical/pharmaceutical translations (for both the
Pharmaceutical sector and University medical faculties) for the past 15 years,
and have also attained TEFL certification. My translating experience has covered
many formats:
