Walk in Centre was due to close on 1st October. Date has now been moved
to 11th November 2014.
No information has been given in terms of posters/leaflets to inform
patients.
Southwark CCG has won the Prime Minister Challenge Fund and has
commissioned a Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP).
To implement this NDP they have created an organisation - IHL
(Improving Health Ltd) which is a Collaborative structure formed by
members of major Southwark Practices. IHL will provide an extended
Primary Care Service covering the hours of 8am to 8pm , 7 days a week
to manage extra patient flow.
Dr Ullah's Practice at Lister health centre will become an Urgent Care
Hub. 20 Southwark Surgeries will be able to pre book patients in need of
an appointment via Emis enterprise when their access is fuuly booked.
There is no clear cut definition of staffing and rotas. Once this has been
formulated, a flow chart of staffing will be developed.
Action: AM to continue to attend the IHL meetings and feedback the group on the
progression.
Telephone Lines




As promised in the last meeting AM managed the ICT team to look into the
telephone line set up due to the patient complaints about waiting time over the
telephone.
An additional handset has been placed in the reception area with the same
number.
This has decreased the amount of patients experiencing difficulty in trying to
get through on the phones.
The practice has now a bypass number for the Pharmacy, A&E District nurses
and other Health care Professionals. This number is not to be given to
patients.
