Research


Similar to inspiration, but its everything you looked at
once you conceptualised your initial idea.
Example:
1950’s game
 Clothing of that year?
 Cars of that year?
 Characters of that year?
 Etc.

Development


Once you have your idea/s you need to develop
different scenario’s, locations, era’s, etc.
Example:
 Racing
game
 Futuristic,
Historic, Present day?
 European, American, Asian etc.
Tests


If you are proposing to create the next Forza Horizon’s then I
expect to see some form of evidence that this can be achieved.
Such as:






Images
Videos
Renders
Models
Animatics
Etc.
Production Schedule


This is where you will summarise what you hope to
achieve and by what dates
Tip: Use Microsoft Excel or Project to create this
Production Costs







This is where you will talk about how much you feel the production
will cost. You can break it down by using and not limiting yourself
to the following headings:
Software
Hardware
Wages
Stock footage (you won’t actually use in your assignment)
Development kits
Etc.
Finally….





Your pitch should last at least 10 minutes
Include videos and images if necessary
Don’t forget to Research!
Stylize your slides to match your idea
Make it look nice
