Common Literary Devices Found in Chidlren’s Picture Books What is Literary Device? A literary technique (also known as literary device) is any method an author uses to convey their message. It’s basically how the author gets their point across. Please find an example of the following devices in the books around the room. Write down the title & author of the book.
