Course description
Physics for anyone who sees their future career in Science the Level 3 Extended Diploma in
Applied Science (is an excellent starting point. It covers a wide range of topics across biology,
chemistry and physics and will allow you to acquire a high level of practical laboratory skills from
which the theory is then drawn.
What will you be learning
You will develop your understanding of Physics in the following areas:
Astrology, Energy, Electricity and Medical Physics. This is a very practical course and very
Mathematics based. you may combine this course with Applied Chemistry, Applied Biology or
Forensic Science to gain a Level 3 Diploma in Applied Science
Entry requirements
5 GCSE's/BTEC equivalents Grade A*-C, including Merit in BTEC level 2 Applied Science or
GCSE C or better in Science.
Where will this course lead me?
Entry to University to study a range of Applied Sciences and careers in medical and applied
sciences.
