VIRGO FIDELIS / SIXTH FORM BLOCKINGS 2016-2017 Select the pathway(s) you wish to follow. You may want to choose only one pathway or combine subjects from Pathways 1 and 2. Please note that you should choose only one subject from each block. Students following only Pathway 1 should select a minimum of three subjects. PATHWAY 1: GCE A LEVEL / AQA BACCALAUREATE To follow GCE A level courses a minimum of 6 A*-C grades at GCSE is required, including Maths and English. For most subjects a grade B is essential. Sociology French Religious Studies (Philosophy & Ethics of Religion) Spanish English Literature Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) Physics PATHWAY 2: LEVEL 3 VOCATIONAL COURSES To follow courses from Pathway 2 a minimum of 5 A*-C grades at GCSE including English and Maths is required.
