Press Release 1 August 2013 ARTI invested 21 million TL in 41 days Artı Investment Holding announced that it made a total investment of 21 million TL to itself and its affiliates during June-July period. Acquiring nearly 85 percent of Endeks Invest for approx. 11 million TL, partnering with GenPower for 7.5 million TL and purchasing a new machinery park worth1 million Euro to its affiliate Altınyağ, Artı Investment Holding also established Artı Argo in Ukraine with a capital of US$200,000 in the same period. With all these acquisitions, the Holding has made its investors happy and increased its total assets to 100 million from 900,000 TL in July 2013. Accelerating its growth graph with its recent investments, Artı Investment Holding (BIST: ARTI) transferred more than 21 million TL in total with its acquisitions of new affiliates and new equipment to existing affiliates. During this period, it also participated in GenPower, one of the major energy corporations of Turkey, through 'capital increase' to strengthen the financial status of the company. It paid 7.5 million TL for this participation in the rate of 6.9 percent. ARTI acquired 84.5 percent of Endeks Invest that operates in corporate finance consulting for 11 million TL and also entered into agriculture industry by establishing Artı Agro in Ukraine with a capital of US$200,000. It also purchased 1 million Euro worth of machinery which will double the pulp production capacity of its affiliate Altınyağ (BIST: ALYAG). Çevik: "We are making Altınyağ ready for ISO 500" Mehmet Nureddin Çevik, the Chairman of Artı Investment Holding, stated that the company adopted the principle of "each investment must have a plus" and that they will continue to increase their investments to bring added value to the economy, society and investors. Çevik also announced their targets for 2014: making Altınyağ one of the ISO 500 companies, diversifying the investments of Artı Investment Holding in high-yield areas and distributing record amount of dividend.
