DEVELOPMENT STUDIES MSc WORLD CHANGERS WELCOME DEVELOPMENT STUDIES MSc: 12 months full-time The Adam Smith Business School is part of an elite group of less than 1% of the world’s business schools which hold triple accreditation. This programme will give you an understanding of policy analysis, economic growth and economic development. By the end of the programme you will have experience of the main models related to economic growth and development, and of the economics of transition from less developed to developed status. What will I get from this programme? • You will be taught by leaders in the field, many of whom have worked with international and government organisations including the IMF, World Bank, UN, Commonwealth Secretariat and central banks. • You will have the opportunity to enhance your skills and learning by taking courses in other subjects at the University such as Economic & Social History and Central & East European studies. Career prospects The Adam Smith Business School offers an excellent employability package. We have a dedicated Careers Manager who will offer you 1-2-1 career coaching. You can also take part in the Career Accelerator Certificate programme which covers career planning and application. Students who have a degree in economics and wish to pursue further studies in development economics, are advised to apply for the MSc Economic Development or the MSc Finance & Economic Development.
