collectedtheawardinLasVegas.Shesaidonreceivingthisaward.

smallestislandsontheplanetyetfacethegreatesteffectsofclimatechange.This
awardisdedicatedtothe150courageousindividualsandtheirfamilieswho
spenttwoyearsoftheirlifesailingthePacificfollowingthestars,thecurrents,
theirhearts,determinedtocreateapowerfulandsustainablefuture.”
TeManaoteMoanaThePacificVoyagerswasconceivedandfinancedby
visionaryGermanphilanthropistDieterPaulmannandproducedbyZoomslide.
Dieterbuilt7oceangoingwakapoweredbythesunandwind,equippedwith
solarpanelsandelectricengines,usedonlywhenbecalmedorlanding–
completelyfossilfuelfree.Crewsweretrainedintraditionalwayfindingandvital
knowledgewastransmittedtothenextgeneration.Twoyearsofpreparation,
twoyearsofsailingandthousandsofhoursoffootagelaterthefilmwas
completed.
