Marketing Executive This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Northern Ireland’s leading 4-star hotels, supporting its activities throughout Ireland and beyond. You will be a Marketing / Business graduate with over one year’s postqualification experience in a marketing position. In this varied role, you will be responsible for producing informative and engaging copy and promoting the business through a number of channels including website, social media, advertising and PR. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and update a marketing action plan in line with the existing marketing budget Communicate with target audiences and manage customer relationships Create informative and engaging marketing to promote the hotel and its services across both digital and offline channels Provide PR support to the chosen PR agency whilst assisting with both press trips and media relationships Create and manage a social media calendar to maintain regular activity across platforms. Manage the company’s website and social channels whilst providing monthly reports on the revenue, social performance and website visits Increase website traffic through improved SEO and pay per click campaigns Source advertising opportunities and place adverts in the press both online and offline Work alongside our chosen website company whilst reviewing reports and implementing agreed actions Increase social media audiences whilst keeping up-to-date with new social media trends and tools Creation and execution of e-mail based marketing campaigns using the Aro Suite Manage the production of marketing materials, including brochures, leaflets and posters Liaise with designers and printers on various web and design projects Organise photoshoots and manage a media library Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials Maintain and update customer databases Organise and attend events such as conferences, seminars and trade exhibitions Monitor competitor activity and provide feedback and reports at monthly management meetings Other relevant marketing duties as and when required Educational Qualifications: Degree level in relevant subject e.g. Marketing Desirable - Digital marketing qualification Essential Skills Set and Experience Requirements: Experience in a digital marketing role Experience of social media platforms Excellent written communication skills with the ability to proof copy Great creative flair Attention to detail Ability to multi-task Good time management Desirable Criteria: Travel and hospitality background (not essential) Experience in working with a design agency Experience in SEO and Pay Per Click campaigns Familiarity of Google Analytics Reporting To: Hotel General Manager Remuneration: This role is a full time permanent position: the successful candidate will be expected to work the hours necessary to perform the duties required by the role.
