• Was created from the Consumer Product Safety Act
• It sets standards and recall products that could or are hazardous also make
guidelines
• Helps enforce the Hazardous Substance Act,Flammable Fabrics Act,Poison
Prevention Packaging Act, and Refrigerator Safety Act
