Procedure for Cost Centre creates, revisions and closing Cost centre create form is available on Financial Services Portal. Completed forms to be reviewed by Financial Services Advisor or ORS/OIA Financial Analysts and then forwarded to Senior Accountant, Financial Services (Nadia Ferrari) for approval. Senior Accountant to forward approved cost centre create forms to Systems & Training for setup. Senior Accountant to forward endowment cost centres to Senior Accounting Analyst for review and setup in Endowment software. Revisions to existing cost centres: Mass change – Excel spreadsheet stating existing attribute and the new attribute. To be used for five or more cost centre changes. Other than mass change – Send changes in an email request stating existing attribute and the new attribute. Closing cost centres – send email request with attached 3 reports: RU Revenue/Expense-3 Selections report (net zero position) Trial Balance – Detail by cost centre report (PJTD) Open purchase orders by cost centre report (this report will be blank) Procedure for new attribute values Send email requests for new attribute values to Senior Accountant, Financial Services (Nadia Ferrari) for approval. Senior Accountant to forward approved email requests for new attribute values to Systems & Training for setup.
