Richard L. Bevan is Vice President, Program Director responsible
for directing program planning and execution of Quest Diagnostic’s
multi-year, enterprise-wide initiative to restore profitable growth.
Mr. Bevan joined Quest Diagnostics in 1999 as Corporate Vice
President, Human Resources. In 2003, he assumed a series of
general management roles leading multiple diagnostic services
businesses in the employer, insurer and consumer markets. In 2011, he led a successful enterprisewide initiative to significantly reduce cost, improve efficiency and increase profitability.
Prior to joining Quest Diagnostics, Mr. Bevan worked for SmithKline Beecham (now GlaxoSmithKline)
from 1982 to 1998, where he held a variety of marketing and human resources leadership positions, in
U.S. and international businesses.
Mr. Bevan is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Colgate University.
