Tyco helps protect one of UK’s leading tourist attractions
Project Overview
Tyco, Europe’s leading provider of electronic fire and security
solutions is providing the security systems for a one-of-a-kind
UK tourist attraction – the National Motor Museum, at
Beaulieu. Set in the heart of the New Forest National Park,
Beaulieu is one of the South of England’s top day visitor
attractions, comprising of the world famous National Motor
Museum, Palace House, Beaulieu Abbey, World of Top Gear
and Bond in Motion. Tyco is helping protect this historic and
fascinating location with its stringent intruder and fire
detection solutions which look after the outbuildings at this 43
acre site.

Customer Needs
Tyco has provided tailored security initiatives in response to
Beaulieu’s long standing business goals for many years. These
goals encompass the ongoing protection and risk mitigation
of the Beaulieu site, which harnesses £50m worth of vehicle
assets, together with notable buildings that played a
significant role in Britain’s turbulent religious history.
In conjunction with caring for Beaulieu’s historic landmarks,
maintaining a secure and safe environment is a business
imperative when helping to ensure an enjoyable experience
for all staff and visitors.

Tyco Solution
Tyco helps to preserve historic structures and the National
Motor Museum with the installation of monitored fire and
intruder solutions.
To deliver a successful solution that runs in parallel with these
business priorities, Tyco have installed intruder and fire
solutions which help protect the main attractions on site,
including The National Motor Museum, Palace House and
Beaulieu Abbey. All fire systems within each building are
equipped with Redcare monitoring capabilities, coupled with
grade 3 signal responses on all intruder alarms that
automatically notify emergency services immediately on
receiving an alert. Using Tyco’s industry leading monitoring
services, streamlined reactions occur in the event of a
problem.
