Internship – Historic House Museum Maintenance Molly Brown House Museum Temporary Paid Position Start Date: February 1, 2016 End Date: December 31, 2016 Hours: 10-12 hours per week Hourly Rate: $10.00/hour This position is located at the Molly Brown House Museum within the Curatorial and Collections Management department and is under the direct supervision of the Curator of Collections. Responsibilities: The intern’s primary responsibilities will be focused around standard historic house care and maintenance. Intern will clean exhibition spaces on a weekly basis; monitor house for any changes; monitor temperature and light levels on a monthly basis; and implement the museum’s IPM plan. This requires that the intern uses proper object handling techniques, be able to compile environmental monitoring data, and track any changes in the museum environment.
