GOAT MILK SHARE PROGRAM
One share in our Goat herd will entitle the shareholder to 1 Gallon of milk per week. The price
per share is $30 + $10.00 jar deposit. Shareholders may buy as many shares as they like, each
share being a one time purchase. These shares may be sold back at any time minus a $15
processing fee. A monthly Boarding fee of $28 provides for the maintenance of the herd and the
handling of the milk. We will present the shareholder with a series of Documents that serve as
the Legal contract between you and J&M Dairy LLC. The documents you will receive are as
follows:
Bill of Sale or Herd Share Buy In: This is the legal Document reflecting your ownership of
shares in the Herd.
Boarding Contract: This Document is a binding agreement between J & M Dairy LLC and
shareholders outlining the Farms responsibility to provide a steady and safe supply of Milk, and
the shareholders’ commitment to making monthly boarding payments. It is unlawful to sell
processed milk or Dairy products from a Raw milk Dairy in Colorado. For an additional fee of
$10.00, J & M Dairy will provide additional processing of your week’s share (1 Gallon),
including Separating, Butter, Yogurt or a soft spreadable cheese. If you wish to have any of these
additional services provided, you must inform J & M Dairy one week prior to pickup date. J &
M Dairy LLC can sell Raw Milk for the feeding of Orphaned animals per Colorado law. It will
be dyed with an approved Black or Blue Dye, for a price of $7 per gallon, when available. The
Buyer of said Raw milk will be required to Sign a written document stating the Dyed raw milk is
for animal consumption only. This Raw milk will be labeled Not For Human Consumption.
