Fixed Income Portfolio Manager (Johannesburg) for a Pan African Asset Management Company
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES





Management of existing in-country unitised or segregated portfolios of regional fixed
income, money market and credit assets, including South Africa.
Portfolio management and analytical support of new and existing regional fixed income
funds.
The identification, creation and management of new pan-African fixed income product
opportunities.
Development and maintenance of client relationships.
Participation in presentations to clients (presentations, phone calls and roadshows).
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate is a CFA Charterholder (or has enrolled with CFA Institute) with at least 5 years
working experience in a similar role.
The ideal candidate will have previous fixed income research experience coupled with applicable
fixed income or credit portfolio management experience.
Candidates will typically have experience managing fixed income portfolios within South Africa, as
well as having had exposure to fixed income investment opportunities across the African continent.
