machines of the PS Complex and for half of
the LHC.
• Time constraints must be sent to the
contractor → please send your specific
request for water.
• Preliminary plan as been established.
Highlights
Activities for the YETS
• Normal yearly maintenance
• Example for the cooling circuits:
• Emptying the primary circuits and cleaning
of the cooling towers
• Repairs
• Necessary maintenance (filters, belt,
greasing, …)
• Instrumentation check / calibrating
• Bugs fixing
• Corrective maintenance
Activities for the YETS
• Leir, Linac 2 and 3:
• Mechanical overhaul of one secondary pump
• Linac 3:
• Replacement of the power and control cables connections
of the ventilation
• Booster:
• Cleaning the heat exchanger of the cooling plant
• Mechanical overhaul of one primary pump
• Modification of the beam dump ventilation (sensor +
control) → Test with the CCC
• Installation of a flowmeter on the extraction air duct for
HSE
• Create new connections on cooling circuit for power
converter in room BRF2
• Take samples and inspection to prepare LS2 works
• Request of the Survey (see hereafter)

• PS:
• POPS cooling: create new connections for the future cooling of the
dummy loads.
• Creation of new connections for the 10 MHz cavity
• Chilled water pumps mechanical overhaul
• Take samples and inspection to prepare LS2 works
• ISOLDE
• Target cooling: modification of the control system for the leak
detection
• Main cooling plant: new version of the program and functional tests
• Modification of the stack (roof bldg.170)
• Medicis: functional test of the ventilation and commissioning of the
hot cell ventilation
• East Area
• Main cooling plant: new version of the program and functional test
• AD
• Modification of the main cooling pipework to install flowmeter
• Sump in TT6: correctives interventions
