This opportunity includes a formal mentoring program, graduate community initiatives, relevant technical training and on- the- job learning from our senior managers and highly experienced team members. * Corporate & Investment Banking and Investment Solutions divisions (excluding partnerships) Responsibilities The Regional Insurance team within Financial Institutions Group (“FIG”) is part of BNP Paribas’ Corporate & Investment Banking arm. FIG is looking for highly ambitious, enthusiastic graduates for a long-term entrylevel position, to take up the role and responsibilities in supporting the daily business operations and activities of the FIG insurance team. It is expected that the graduate will acquire knowledge/understanding of insurers and develop the overall skills set required to successfully contribute to the business. Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following tasks: - To assist and support the business activities and operations of FIG’s members and bankers - To establish and maintain close client relationship, working with various product groups of BNP Paribas - To prepare presentations, memos and analysis reports, including but not limited to (a) Pitch Book Presentations, (b) Client Action Plans (c) Credit Line / Investment Proposals, (d) Briefing Memos and Call Memos, and (e) Other ad-hoc analysis / strategic papers on special projects (e.g. annual reviews for our insurance clients, credit risk committees, strategic meetings, etc.) - To organize and attend various types of meetings and events related to client and business activities To be responsible for performing and updating know-your-customer diligence, compliance and client related responsibilities Other duties assigned by management as requested - October 2014 Technical and Behavioural Competencies / Specific Qualifications (if required) Students who have recently graduated or are graduating in 2H 2014 or 2015 from all areas of disciplines are most welcome to apply.
