TRANSFORMING LEADERS
Jacksonville
“The most frequent question I hear Christian business leaders ask is, ‘How do I
integrate our Christian faith into the workplace?’ Lifework Leadership addresses
this need by investing in the renewal and transformation of leaders, and
empowers them to lead their businesses, their families and their communities
by Godly principles.”
— Wayne Huizenga, Jr. —
President

TRANSFORMING LEADERS
V ISION
VALUE
We envision business leaders throughout Jacksonville,
who cross vocational, denominational, and racial lines
to transform the minds and hearts of their companies,
churches and communities.
PARTICIPANTS GAIN
• A clear perspective and purpose of who they really are
and how they fit into their world.
This is the vision that inspires and motivates those
who have experienced the Lifework Leadership
training program.
We are committed to equipping leaders because
we believe that the quality of leadership in an
organization makes the difference between success
and failure. Our principles are based on a Christian
worldview and are readily transferable for today’s
marketplace. They are principles that are “good for
business” as well as personal development.
We invite you to complete the attached application
for the Lifework Leadership Class or encourage an
associate, parishioner, or friend to apply.
We invite you to experience our program so that
together we can make a transforming impact
throughout Jacksonville.
• A desire to positively shape their corporate culture and
meaningfully serve non-profit organizations.
• An exposure to the needs of the broader community.
• Significant and strategic relationships that will enrich
their personal and professional lives.
OUR COMMUNITY GAINS
• Leaders who participate in significant ways.
• Leaders who use their influence to make a lasting
difference in their community.
COMPANIES GAIN
• Employees who have stronger ethics and values.
• Employees who have a new network of relationships.
• Employees who represent them with greater community
presence and influence.
• A deeper bench and pipeline for leaders.
“Among the most noble of efforts: an older generation pouring itself into a
younger with the intention of encouraging emerging community leadership that
possesses moral, spiritual, and intellectual strength. This is Lifework Leadership’s
‘business,’ and I am proud to be associated with it.”

Lifework Leadership was established in 1992 to bring vitality
to cities by transforming and mobilizing Christian business
leaders. It is based in Orlando, Florida.
Lifework was birthed through the vision of former U.S.
Senator William Armstrong (CO) who envisioned a nation
that could be transformed through leaders who had a clear
calling and Christian worldview. Armstrong challenged
Ralph D. Veerman, of Veerman & Associates, and Larry
Kreider, President of The Gathering USA, Inc., to be founding
partners in 1992. The model was then refined with the
appointment of Steven French as President in 2000. French
brought Lifework’s staff, program, and curriculum to a
position that allows its model of leadership transformation
to be transferable to other cities. The vision remains clear
— “transformed leaders, transform cities.”
The Chairman Emeritus of Lifework Leadership/
Jacksonville’s Advisory Council, is Randy Drew, CEO of
