It is based in Orlando, Florida. Lifework was birthed through the vision of former U.S. Senator William Armstrong (CO) who envisioned a nation that could be transformed through leaders who had a clear calling and Christian worldview. Armstrong challenged Ralph D. Veerman, of Veerman & Associates, and Larry Kreider, President of The Gathering USA, Inc., to be founding partners in 1992. The model was then refined with the appointment of Steven French as President in 2000. French brought Lifework’s staff, program, and curriculum to a position that allows its model of leadership transformation to be transferable to other cities. The vision remains clear — “transformed leaders, transform cities.” The Chairman Emeritus of Lifework Leadership/ Jacksonville’s Advisory Council, is Randy Drew, CEO of PARC Management.
