He thinks it is just made up of boring rocks. We need you to research rocks and minerals, so you can prove to him that the rocks are NOT boring. Please do a good job and be our hero. The earth contains amazing things including rocks and minerals. There are three major types of rock: sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic. These types of rock are all involved in the rock cycle. Minerals are found in the earth just like rocks. 1. Research sedimentary rock and make a poster. 2. Research igneous rock and make a timeline. 3. Research metamorphic rock and write a creative story. 4. Research the rock cycle and write a song or poem. 5. Research minerals and make a PowerPoint presentation.
