SYLLABUS DESCRIPTION
This syllabus is designed to assist research scholars in developing expertise and
in depth understanding in the field of breast cancer. This will help researcher to
develop advance knowledge in breast cancer and its surgical management. It
will help researcher to undergo depth research studies in nursing management
and prevention of post operative complications .
OBJECTIVES
1. Describe the epidemiology, incidence, prevalence of breast
cancer.
2. Explaining trends and issues related to breast cancer.
3. Review of anatomy and physiology of lymphatic system and
female reproductive system (Breast)
4. Explain about nature of cancer
5. Discuss about physiological condition and symptoms of breast
cancer
6. Analysis about recent treatment modalities of breast cancer.
7. Enumerate role of nursing management in pre and post
operative nursing care.
8.Incorporate evidence based nursing practice and identify the area
