3. Class Osteichthyes - the bony fish
Bony fish are the largest group of fishes
They have a lateral line for sensing the environment
They have an operculum that helps water flow over
gills (bony fish can stay in one place, not swimming)
Most common fish are bony fish (tuna, trout, bass,
goldfish, salmon, etc)

Amphibians live part of life in

1. Reptiles have thick, scaly skin that holds in water
