キーワード Key Words
Humic substances, carbon cycle, chemical analysis, humification process, organic wastes
授業の目標 Course Objectives
Humic substances (HSs) from organic wastes can be regarded as “Recycling Materials”, because these may be useful for
remediation of vegetations that are destroyed (e.g., desert, barren ground in marine etc.). Humification processes of organic
wastes, such as wood tips and papers, can be controlled by biochemical reactions (e.g., catalysts, enzymes, metal oxides and
so on). In this class, topics for the chemistry of HSs and humification processes are explained and discussed.
到達目標 Course Goals
In my class, I would like you to understand (i) basic concept, (ii) physico-chemical characteristics, (iii) methods for chemical
analyses, and (iv) environmental and industrial importance of HSs.
