Time: 8.30am to 4.30pm each day.
Venue: Evans Park Equestrian 56 Godalla Rd Freemans Reach
Information for EA NCAS General Coaches
This clinic is suitable for EA NCAS General Coaches wishing to add vaulting coaching to their current
accreditations. Many riding coaches are exploring the benefits of expanding their equestrian centres to include
vaulting skills to assist with training beginner riders and developing confidence in the adult learner. If you are
interested in expanding your accreditation to include vaulting exercises then this workshop would be a great
way to start. Introductory Vaulting Coach workbook can be purchased prior from Equestrian Australia, but not
essential. Coaches who just want to see if vaulting would fit into their current centres are welcome, and all
materials to get you started will be provided on the day.
Costs:
Coaches: $60 per day.
Horse Accommodation: Stables $30 per day

There are limited truck parking spaces with access to power and there is
plenty of space for unpowered camping.

Ali Divita from Woodside USA has visited Australia many times. Ali has
attended 4 World Championships and is currently competing at WEG in
Normandy. As a coach she enjoys sharing and teaching the expanse of her
knowledge and skills as a world-class athlete. Ali brings effervescence in
her approach to training and encourages all vaulters to test themselves to
their limits. Her versatility in training covers dance, yoga, meditation and
gymnastics. Ali’s creative imagination and her edge makes her the ideal
choice for freestyle interpretation sessions.

International Focus Workshop

Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd Sept 2014
A clinic for vaulters with international aspirations, their parents and coaches.
Time: 8.30 am to 4.30pm each day. Venue: To be advised.
Costs: NSW Vaulters: $100 per day. Limited places available.
There are no camping facilities for this clinic. We will endeavour to assist with finding host families to
accommodate vaulters for the Monday night.

Jenny Carroll Training Performance
Jenny is the current Dressage NSW High Performance Coordinator. She has
Over 12 years sports & remedial massage experience which includes human and
equine clients. Jenny is a NSW Institute of Sport accredited massage service provider
and uses a range of massage therapies including, sports & remedial. She is also
trained in Kinesio taping applications, posture assessment & corrective exercise
programs.
Tanja Mitten Equestrian Success & Mindset
Tanja is the Australian High Performance Mindset Coach for the Dressage
and Para Squads and in 2012 Tanja was invited to the Australian Institute
of Sport to present to the NCAS Level 3 coach candidates a workshop on
how to improve the Mindset of Australian Coaches. Tanja is the Author
of the Book “Seven Steps to the Mindset of an Equestrian Champion” and
has regular articles published as well as having been an Educator at
EQUITANA in 2010, 2011 and 2013. Read more…
Catherine Hamber is a certified Feldenkrais Practitioner and a registered physiotherapist. She
has a practice in the North-West of Sydney for those who would like improved posture,
greater ease of movement and an increased sense of vitality, or those who seek to recover
movement after difficulties related to injury, pain or neurological conditions. She works with
athletes as well as those living with pain or disability.
Catherine also has experience as an equestrian coach for able-bodied riders and those with
disabilities, and has worked with horses and their riders at elite levels. Read more…
