Amendment to the List of CITES Species
I, Paul Murphy, Assistant Secretary, Wildlife Trade and Biosecurity Branch, delegate of the
Minister for the Environment and Energy pursuant to paragraphs 303CA(9)(b) and (c) of the
Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, amend the List of CITES
Species established under subsection 303CA(1) of that Act, as set out in Schedules 1, 2 and 3
to this Instrument.
This Instrument commences as follows:
(a) Schedule 1 to this Instrument commences on 2 January 2017;
(b) Schedule 2 to this Instrument commences on 4 April 2017;
(c) Schedule 3 to this Instrument commences on 4 October 2017.
The remainder of this Instrument commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal
Register of Legislation
