Control System (CS) and IT Control Support System (ITCSS)
as basic tools that support carrying out inspections
DEPARTAMENT INSPEKCJI I ORZECZNICTWA
11
The current Control System has been implemented cocncerning the
Project PL0100 „Increasing effectiveness of the Environmental Inspection
based on Norwegian experiences” and is a result of cooperation of
Inspection for Environmental Protection with Norwegian Pollution Control
Authority (SFT).
The Project has been financed from EEA Grants and Norway Grants.
12
I MPLEMENTATION
OF
The implementation of Control System started in 2007 and was aimed at
replacing the “Instruction for carrying out inspections and taking up
follow-up actions by the Environmental Inspection”, existing since 2005,
with the new control system.
After the CS has been implemented, first in the two pilot Voivodship
Inspectorates of Environmental Protection of Warsaw and Rzeszów, and
next in the remaining inspectorates, it will fully substitute the existing
Instruction.
At present the final actions are beeing undertaken to implement the
new IT Control Support System.

24
Register of CS documents
To generate different kinds of reports each
VIEP can use a dedicated program (GenRap)
which gives a chance to generate new
reports as required.
Each VIEP has at least one trained inspector
who is able to use GenRap.
