WILTSHIRE INVOLVEMENT NETWORK
Data Protection Statement
The Wiltshire Involvement Network (WIN) is a network of local people, groups
and community organisations who want to help shape health and social care
services commissioned and provided in Wiltshire. Wiltshire Involvement
Network aims to be inclusive and will not discriminate on the grounds of the
protected characteristics as defined in the Equality Act 2010: disability,
religion or belief, race, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment,
pregnancy and maternity, marriage and civil partnership.
WIN has statutory duties and powers and will act in accordance with the Local
Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007.
WIN needs to keep certain information on all persons involved with WIN in
order to carry out its day to day operations, to meet its objectives and to
comply with legal obligations. WIN is committed to ensuring any personal data
will be dealt with in line with the Data Protection Act 1988. To comply with the
law, personal information will be collected and used fairly, stored safely and
not disclosed to any other person unlawfully.
