CCG Performance Reporting arrangements Patient Participation Group Chairs 31st March 2015 NHS West Kent Clinical Commissioning Group Purpose of the review • To enable the Governing Body/Members/Public to track progress towards: – key aims and objectives – towards NHS Constitution standards – National Outcomes Framework – Achievement of ‘Value’ from deployment of resources NHS West Kent Clinical Commissioning Group Issues for consideration • How can we better align the requirements of national reporting with more local needs • How do we ensure a focus on progress towards strategic intentions as well as in-year deliverables? • CCG wide vs Locality/practice level reporting • Can we revise reporting arrangements in a way that supports public engagement? • How do we incorporate shared objectives/outcomes with social care services (e.g. the Better Care Fund?) • Can we/should we differentiate between the CCG as commissioner and the wider health system?
