Station 6 Orthoptic equipment, Stereopsis testing. Prisms and occlusion ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- THE ORTHOPTIC DEPARTMENT MOORFIELDS EYE HOSPITAL ------------------------------------------ Revision course for ophthalmologists taking the FRCOphth part 2 The emphasis will be a practical examination technique and will enable the participants to perform the cover test, ocular movement examination, measure an angle of squint and assess visual function in children with communication difficulties. The course will be taught by experienced orthoptists and will include time for questions and discussions. The course does not aim to teach basic orthoptic principals and we advise all participants to read an orthoptic text book before coming to the course. We suggest: Clinical Orthoptics by Fiona J.
