Revision course for ophthalmologists taking the FRCOphth part 2

The emphasis will be a practical examination technique and will enable the
participants to perform the cover test, ocular movement examination, measure an
angle of squint and assess visual function in children with communication
difficulties.

The course will be taught by experienced orthoptists and will include time for
questions and discussions.

The course does not aim to teach basic orthoptic principals and we advise all
participants to read an orthoptic text book before coming to the course.
We suggest: Clinical Orthoptics by Fiona J. ROWE. Pub. Wiley - Blackwell.

COST : £150 ( to include Lunch and refreshments throughout the day and orthoptic
equipment ( occluder, fixation stick and torch )
