How to Classify Triangles
Classify the following triangles by their sides and angles.
Classify the following triangles by their sides and angles.
• Has all 3 sides congruent
• All angles are congruent
• Has two congruent sides (called legs)
• Base: the non-congruent side
• Base Angles: the two adjacent angles to the base
• Vertex Angle: the angle opposite of the base
