UNITED NATIONS
The United Nations (UN) is an international
organization to promote international cooperation.
The organization was established on 24 October
1945 after World War II in order to prevent another
such conflict. It is composed by 193 members.

The main organs of UN are:
 General Assembly
 Security Council
the main deliberative assembly;
for deciding certain resolutions for peace and security;
 Economic and Social Council
for promoting international economic and
social cooperation and development;
 Secretariat
