Paris, 14 September 2016 Press release - Appointment Kosc Telecom has chosen Stéphane Laffont to be its Chief Sales Officer. Stéphane Laffont is the fourth member to join Kosc Telecom’s management team, and like his predecessors, 48-year-old Stéphane is no new-comer to the French wholesale connectivity market. His previous sales experience includes 14 years spent with Completel where he occupied the position of Sales Director. Stéphane Laffont will be responsible for building and managing the wholesale operator’s sales team. He has gained extensive knowledge about the complex, technical aspects of the wholesale connectivity market and he will be responsible for offering the best possible service to operators on the B2B market who want to take advantage of Kosc’s powerful and responsive new network. Stéphane will be attending the upcoming Carriers World in London (21-22 September) and Capacity Europe in Paris (7-9 November). “KOSC Telecom is the company the whole telecom market has been waiting for in France”, he says. “After spending 20 years with different B2B operators, I know that KOSC Telecom will play a key role in driving France’s wholesale market forward. We’ll have the capacity to handle our carrier customers’ extremely demanding interconnection network requirements, and we can do so at a very competitive rate”. “KOSC Telecom grew from the acquisition of Completel, and Stéphane will be bringing all that experience with him. His in-depth knowledge of Completel’s network, which has been fully upgraded since Kosc took possession of it, means he can immediately deal with the core issues facing our operator customers today”, said Antoine Fournier, KOSC Telecom’s CEO. KOSC Telecom is the new French telecommunications operator dedicated to the wholesale business connectivity market. Directed by Antoine Fournier, Kosc Telecom is supported by a consortium which was formed by one of its main shareholders, Yann de Prince who is accompanied by his former partner; Boris Clausse, OVH, (Europe’s leading Cloud computing specialist and web host), who backed the company’s creation, along with Bpifrance and other French financial partners. The management team controls the operator, and none of the co-shareholders holds a majority stake in the company.
