Smile Squad Game Rules
“Smile Squad” is a two-player card game for kids ages 6 – ıı.
Players compete to be the first to score 32 points or more – the number
of teeth in a healthy grown-up smile – by matching cards while learning
important dental health information.
Traits: Indicates the
Color trait (Pink, Blue,
Green, Orange or MultiColor) and the Shape trait
(■ ● ▲ or ★) of that card
for matching purposes.
Notches: These line up to
determine if combos are legal.
Points: Scoring value when
played as part of a combo.
Type: Indicates Hero,
Action or Villain card.

Game Setup

Shuffle the deck and deal five cards to each player.
Place the remaining cards in the deck facedown
between the two players.
Turn over the top card of the deck and place it face-up
to form the discard pile.
Choose youngest player to go first.
Turn Order
Draw Phase
• Draw one card either from the top of the deck or the top of
the discard pile.
Action Phase
• Perform one of the following actions:
– Play a single two- or three-card combo to score points.
– Give up any one card from your hand to the discard pile.
Then draw one new replacement card from the top of the deck.
– Keep your cards and pass.
Final Phase
• Count your cards. If you have more than seven in your hand,
discard down to seven.
• Tell your opponent, “Smile, it’s your turn.”

Match cards by traits (color or shape) to form a legal two-or three-card
combo. Perfect matches are formed when both traits (Color and Shape)
on adjacent cards in a combo are the same.

Add up the point values.
Draw any bonus cards earned (from the top of the deck or the
discard pile).
– A three-card combo earns one bonus draw.
