Psalm 8:3 -“When I consider Your heavens “– The following images are from the Hubble space Telescope. Have you ever wondered what you are really seeing when you consider the heavens? What value do you have to God? Let’s take a quick tour of our amazing universe--- MORE THAN 80% OF THE OBJECTS IN THIS PHOTO ARE GALAXIES HERE ARE MORE THAN 100,000 STARS Spiral galaxy NGC 2841, which lies 46 million light-years away in the constellation of Ursa Major ( The Big Dipper), reveals a majestic disk of stars and dust lanes. Dense knots of dust and gas, called "Bok globules," hold the elements responsible for the formation of stars. These knots, located in the Milky Way, are about 9,500 light-years from Earth. ----This knot is over 18 Trillion miles across Gas released by a dying star races across space at more than 600,000 miles an hour, forming the delicate shape of a celestial butterfly. This nebula is also known the Bug Nebula.—A big Bug more than 26 Trillion miles wide A pillar of gas in the Carina Nebula is bathed in the light of hot, massive stars. –How Massive? larger than our entire solar system This sequence of images captures a parade of four of Saturn's moons –the largest of these moons Titan is 80% more massive than our own moon and by volume is larger than the planet Mercury Saturn takes a 29-year journey around the Sun A billowing tower of gas and dust forms the Eagle Nebula. This small piece of the Eagle Nebula is 57 trillion miles Long –Almost Ten Light years Three of the galaxies here in Stephan's Quintet (5 Galaxies), are distorted from their gravitational interactions with one another even though they are hundreds of thousands of trillions of miles apart. These photos show both sides of Mars The right image shows the giant volcano Olympus Mons, an oval-shaped feature just above the center. Is 342 Miles across and 14 miles High or more than twice the height of Mt. Everest! A pillar of Hydrogen gas rising in the Carina Nebula that is 18 Trillion miles high. Our whole solar system would fit along it’s length more than 20 times The Sombrero Galaxy with its brilliant white core is encircled by thick dust lanes.--This galaxy is 50,000 light-years across, --350,000 Trillion Miles-- and 28 million light years from Earth-Is home to 360 Billion Stars most of which are larger than our sun The large Whirlpool Galaxy (left) is known for its sharply defined spiral arms. which could be the result of the Whirlpool's gravitational tug-of-war with its smaller companion galaxy (right). Psalm 8:4-- What is man that you are mindful of Him?--EVERYTHING—more than all the Stars—enough to sacrifice His son— enough that in the whole universe there is only one of you!
