World War II Newspaper
Standards:
 The students will identify how major leaders influenced the WWII era.
 The students will differentiate between the Axis Powers and the Allied Powers.
 The students will evaluate the influence of propaganda during the WWII era.
 The students will demonstrate effective communication skills when presenting
information in written form.
Create the front page of a newspaper written with an “American” perspective from the
WWII era that includes an article about each of the following: a major leader, a major
event, propaganda, and a description of the Axis Powers. Each article should be long
enough to give sufficient information on the topics given. Follow the given rubric to make
sure you include all necessary aspects.
