Enrichment activities include student participation at the U.N.C. Math Contest. The first round of the contest is in November at Prairie School and students who advance to the final round will participate in a three hour mathematics test at the University of Northern Colorado in January. In addition, students with a high degree of math-science aptitude are invited to participate in northeastern Junior College’s Math-Science Contest in April. The mathematics and science departments make the selections of which students participate in the contest.
