Breast Cancer Awareness Week
Oct. 3rd-Oct. 8th
**All week long the kids will be able to buy pink paper volleyballs ($1) to write on and
hang in the gym windows. Our goal is to cover all the windows with the volleyballs.
**Pink bracelets will also be for sale for $1. Plus, we have breast cancer tattoos for sale
for .50 cents.
**The JH and HS volleyball girls have all signed a pink and white volleyball that will be
raffled off. Each ticket is $1 and the winner will be announced at the volleyball match
Saturday morning.
**The girls have also put together several silent auction baskets. You will have
opportunities to bid on these baskets at the game Monday night, the football game
Friday, and then Saturday morning. The baskets will be given away after the match on
Saturday.
**We will also have bake sales at the games Monday, Friday and Saturday.
Monday: Bryson Staff vs. BJH Volleyball Team
6:30, $1 Kids, $3 Adults
That night we will also have a pink paper airplane contest. Each sheet of
paper is $1. You can make as many airplanes as you want. After the game,
everyone in the contest will stand at the end of the volleyball court to throw
their plane. The plane closest to the center of the BC in the middle of the floor
will win ½ the money raised from the airplane contest.
Saturday: Bryson HS vs. Woodson HS Volleyball Match
10:00, $1 Kids, $3 Adults
This is a “Pink Out” game. We want the gym to be packed with everyone wearing pink
in support of Breast Cancer. Starting at 8:30, the Booster Club will begin serving
breakfast in the gym foyer. The meal will include pancakes, sausage, & juice, coffee or
milk for $5.
All proceeds raised from these activities will be donated to the
American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, Jack County.
