Pink Sharks Support Cancer Research
Donor support for the NSU AutoNation Institute for Breast and Solid
Tumor Cancer Research, the NSU Sarcoma Research Fund, and the
NSU Rumbaugh-Goodwin Institute for Cancer Research is accelerating
our multidisciplinary approach to cancer research, providing research
opportunities for students at all levels.
The institutes will focus on many areas, including
• testing chemicals used in a variety of consumer products to determine
if there is a link to cancer, and educating the public and regulatory
agencies on its findings
• analyzing the origin of cancer based on ancestral and racial disparities
in cancer outcomes
• developing diagnostic and therapeutic cancer-care strategies through
basic research that can be translated into clinical trials for the cure of
breast and solid tumor cancers
To give, go to nova.edu/giving.
All donations of $50 or more in the month of October will receive an exclusive pink shark pin.

I am a pink shark
for myself, a stage-3

for family, friends,
colleagues, and former

battling the disease.
