The children will meet a rich Athenian lady, and a down-to-earth Spartan tutor who help the children learn about the wisdom of the Ancient Greeks. The day will include; • • • • Visiting the Agora A Spartan Upbringing Craft Activity Greek Theatre and Entertainment We would like the children to dress in Greek costumes, and have attached some ideas for you to follow. A voluntary contribution of £9.10 is necessary to enable this fantastic hands-on learning experience to go ahead. Parents are asked to pay via ParentPay, the secure, online payment system by Friday, 26 June, at the latest. If you are unable to pay online, you should contact school who will give you a barcode letter that can you take to any PayPoint store (the nearest to school is McColls on Walkden Road).
