English and History Cross Curricular Activity This is an activity that you will be developing between now and May to help you think about important people and events (things that happened) from World War 1 to World war 2 using English language arts like drama, role play, interview, poetry etc. Historical Period to be studied in History lesson Between the the World Wars ie from World War 1 to World War 2 Idea to be developed in English lesson You can choose any major historical figure/event/country from between the wars and using role play ,interviews , video , drama ,poetry , historical news report, poetry etc . Explore through one of these methods either the historical figure (person ) or the time that they lived and ruled. You can make a drama about people who lived during that time to try to give some idea about what it was like. The Great Depression meant that people were very poor and had no jobs and very little to eat so strong ,powerful leaders such as Hitler, Mussolini were able to take power.
