You have a summer job as an intern at a public broadcasting television station. The station is in the process of
developing a program called “Deities of the Ancient World.” The focus is Greek and Roman gods and goddesses.
Your task is to collect information and create a database of Greek and Roman gods and goddesses. The station will
refer to your database in developing the television program. You will need to include 10 gods (5 Roman, 5 Greek) and
10 goddesses (5 Roman, 5 Greek) in your database.
1. Here are the field names and data types you will use for your table (name is Gods & Goddesses Table):

2.  Create a form from the Gods & Goddesses Table above and name it Gods & Goddesses Form. Make sure the
MEMO fields are large enough for all of the text to be seen.
3.  Find 10 gods (5 Roman, 5 Greek) and 10 goddesses (5 Roman, 5 Greek) to include in your database. You are
welcome to copy/paste your information. Use Boolean Syntax or there are links at our class website.
4. Gods & Goddesses Report – From the Gods & Goddesses Table above, setup a report using all of the fields, except
DEITY ID.
 Sort by the NAME field in Descending order
 Choose the Justified Layout, Portrait direction
 Your report will probably be on several pages. That is okay.
5. Queries – For the following queries, use only these fields: Name, Gender, Origin, and Role. Use the underlined text
as the title of each Query.
a.  Query of gods

c.  Query of Roman gods
g.  Query of Roman gods and goddesses
d.  Query of all goddesses
h.  Query of Greek gods and goddesses
6. Reports – From the Queries above, create reports using these field names: Name, Gender, Origin.
a.  Greek Goddesses Report – Place your name in the Page Header, make it fit on 1 page, PRINT and staple
to this sheet.
b.  Roman Gods Report – Make it fit on 1 page, do NOT print this report.
7. Fill out the Self Evaluation Below and turn in to basket.
