Know as the Treaty of Paris, it brought the Seven Years’ War to an end. More than 30 battles had been fought in Europe, Africa, India, and the West Indies, but nowhere were the consequences as great as in North America. First British Empire Britain’s colonies in North America are often referred to as the First British Empire. They were prosperous territories with growing populations. By the 1700s there were many large towns and thousands of farms. Question 1. ________________Was the British Prime Minister at the time of the Boston Tea Party.
